Ach! I somehow didn't catch that during any of the process! I haven't learned how to dodging and burning in the darkroom yet, but a lot of my photos will be getting edited and resubmitted when I do. I don't want to muck with them in photoshop yet till I know I can do it the right way. I have a wierd hang up about that. But that hair.......I may just ps that out! lol! Thanks for the tips.

The over exposure of the street REALLY doesn't go well with this...draws too much attention away from all of the detail, creating a focal point in the wrong part of the image. Burn the hell out of that. Other then that, it's a fairly nice shot, although the background is a little distracting. How do you get such good scans? Mine always come out like shit.
Question is which one represents which? The older man can represent the tortoise because most people think that old people are slow. As they reach a part of their life when there isn't a need to rush around then they can take things at their own pace. Now the younger man rushes through life trying to get everything done as quickly as possible. He thinks the older man a slow fool and hurries on his way. It doesn't cross his mind that until later in life that he will become old and slow himself. So the tortoise will always win the race because the hare will become the tortoise.
Does that even make any sense?
I think I got side-tracked. I suppose in a way that can also relate to those who are wheelchair bound. Some people people can be cruel or ignorant of people who are forced to use wheelchairs. I think it's always the fear people have that they may end up becoming what they fear.

Dodgeing and burning are easy, and trust me - I know what it's like not to catch massive errors in the darkroom. As far as the area I told you to burn - don't do it in photoshop! It won't do anything because the data is simply not there, but it may be on the negitive. (the negitive has more dynamic range then the photo paper does, so you can get data back that didn't get printed.)
First off, everyone here at deviantART would like to say THANK YOU!!! We have received an overwhelming amount of enthusiasm for the launch of version 6 and believe that this has been our best-received launch to date.
You might even be one hell of a profesional, but if you don't SHOW it and PROVE it, how will everyone know? These facts are important not only when you are looking for a job, but in any situation when you wish to showcase your work. I decided to share a few guidelines that might help you give the best of yourself and help you be a better profesional.
`karemelancholia is one of the most genuine deviants you could ever met. Always active and a true deviantART cheerleader and supporter in every aspect. You can always count on her to lend a hand or get involved, and you usually will find her doing large amounts of both at any given moment. She's consistently reports on contests around dA, showcases the efforts of her fellow artists and shows her charitable side through various activities. Besides all of this, she's a truly talented artist which is why she's an obvious choice for deviousness this month. Read More

Reports of my demise have been greatly exaggerated.
Reports of _your_ demise have been premature, but accurate.
