Haha, well, here's the backstory:
So you're doing deities-know-what (in STC's case, he was smoking opium) and an idea collides with the back of your head at the speed of approximately 422 km/h, right? You drop whatever you're doing, grab a pen (and swear and grab another one if it happens to be out of ink), crack open a notebook and start scribbling. You're on a roll and getting to a critical piece when SOMEthing interrupts you - doorbell, loss of consciousness, dinner caught fire, apocalypse, whatever. In any event, you're forced to abandon your writing for some period of time longer than a second. And when you finally get back to it, you can no longer remember what it was that you were about to write, only that it was pretty darn good and the idea is now lost forever.
That's what happened to Coleridge when he wrote Kubla Khan, and me while I was outlining my fanfic.
All the lost possibilities…

Very nice! I like the shadow-ish blackness of the picture. That's good!
Thanks! It just happened while I played around with the contrast in Photoshop… The texture doesn't look as smooth as I would have liked, though. Any tips?
