While I love the colour palette, I feel it's just about the only thing that isn't quite 'Dalmatians' about it. The rest of it; the lines, the 'untidy' colouring, the picture frames, panelling and staircase, all shout 101 Dalmatians. You've done a great job.

I did struggle a bit with the colors, especially since I wasn't doing the backgrounds for myself.
But do you say in terms of color choices (pink, yellow and brown) or in terms of saturation and tones?

Hmmm, tough to call. Probably more saturation and tones than actual colour choices. If my personal opinion is of any merit, you could go either lighter + less saturated with the pink for a less contrasting environment, or darker / more burgundy for a slightly more morbid vibe.
Don't get me wrong, the colour choices are very very good. It's only my personal opinion. I had to really analyse it before I could come up with any criticism whatsoever. I feel your work deserves it!
