Have you seen the Batman/Planetary crossover where the team pursues a criminal across the dimensions, only to be challenged in all of them by the Batman? Or rather the Batmen, from Neil Adams' to Adam West's to this battered old fist of a Bruiser Wayne and more?
I read the sequence in Planetary, so I've forgotten what they retitled it for the Batman book, but it's one of my favorites.
