The dark around the eyes spoils it. The yellow of the badge is too light, doesnt seem to fit. Sharper highlights on the hair and lips would have made it pop more. Over all good job. Maybe try and smudge/smear/blend a bit more?

Good work  :D

Thanks for the comments, as this was the first time I've tried color pencils (which I found out are more or less Crayons/Wax) I'd love to find color pencils made with lead it would be so much better :) I found once the was is on the paper forget about erasing it, plus I think since I'm using my 400 series Drawing Paper that maybe a problem also, because the current piece I'm working on is becoming a nightmare. I think I need to try Smooth Paper so it will blend better without the tooth of the Drawing paper.

Also, I just picked up a set of the Prismacolor Verithin pencils, but most of the colors are very close to the Faber-Castell I already had. Once I can afford to get a few better pencils and colors, I'm sure my work will be a little better.

Thanks again for the comments.

Oh yes we do, I've been looking at more and more art, think I might just try Pastel Pencils. They kinda look like lead and not wax :)

Sounds like a good idea, I used to like working with oil pastels but that was ages ago.
