Difference between animals (humans ARE animals) and plants normally is that animals feel pain and have an extraordinary form of communication in their body that allows them to feel and especially to THINK and so on.
But it seems you don´t have the ability to think or do you just don´t want to see that you´re wrong.

Yes that´s true. Plants do have an inner communication system which still is working much slower than the one of animals since it´s not working with electric signals. By the time the plant would feel anything it´s probably already dead/ cut off. Additionally 14 kg plants are used to produce 1 kg meat. As a reason of that you cause the "death" of 14 times more "creatures" if that´s what you want to call them + the animal.
People should just keep in mind that freedom is limited. As soon as your freedom bothers another beings freedom it no longer is freedom one should find in a real democracy. It´s just Despotism. And in that case it´s my right and duty to intervene like it is anyones right to stop someone from killing someone else.

someone can't take a joke. Along with that thousands of animals are murdered a day by humans, other animals, and natural causes, so I don't see whats wrong if I have myself a hamburger tonight or a nice chicken salad to end my night (in which I did have that chicken ceaser salad, delicious by the way)

Well if you read the other comments you would have seen another possibility which allows you to continue eating meat. I don´t really get what´s natural about breeding animals and putting them into enclosures to kill them. It would rather be natural to hunt them down in nature wouldn´t it? So putting it right beneath "animals killing animals" and "animals dying because of other natural causes" sounds strange to me.
Its plenty natural from how they've evolved, they're bred to be food and born to be food so their ultimate demise and plenty usage makes them into: food. If, lets say tigers, were as smart and sentient as humans were, they would probably enslave and eat us. Its the nature of the beast: kill or be killed, and just because that food isn't hunted down in the woods where it could be flea bitten and uneatable to a human, doesn't mean that its bad.

Murder is only for humans. Now you can just leave, because really, the farmers kill them.
the farmers kill them but you order them to do so. Buying meat -> supermarket or sth. else wants to sell more of it because now they know that meat is popular. ->more animals are "produced" in order to deliver them to the supermarket -> those steps will never end if you don´t break up the circle in a point.

I don´t care about definitions of words. Even if the law declines murdering like that it doesn´t have to be correct.
Laws have to be updated again and again because the average-human wants to live too comfortable. Noone ever thinks of anything but his own sake.

I think it would be only fair if you were to count humans as animals if you were to count murder with non-humans too.
I would do if Humans were still hunters like animals. But the animal "human" is out of control and not natural any more.
The relation between human and animal isn´t natural either. There is no animal imprisonning its food and killing it being in an enclosure. Humans are killing animals and animals kill animals but theres a difference between it. If humans fished or hunted to get the flesh I would not interrupt you eating meat because it would be fair.

I wish meat was expensive to buy and the only cheap option would be hunting. The world would be a better place, less farming, more humane hunting.

Yea. Farming would still exist, since not everyone can hunt, especially if you live in a city. But the price of meat would be high enough to make those who can't afford it veg.
The only problem would be that due to rapid hunting for food some animals would become endangered, and when that happens meat would be cheaper.
