We don't know it's "Equestrian", we don't even know if Equestria's the country or continent. We only have toy canon that it's one land mass. For all we know it might have several languages within. I hear more people call America's language "American English" than "American" anyway.

Of course, strictly speaking, British as a language is a form of Celtic and I'm not sure it's even spoken any more (unlike Scottish, Welsh and English), but Brayton, coming partially from "bray" (noise a donkey makes), has pun goodness.

That's my headcanon anyway.

-...are you serious there ? Really ? Haven't seen the episode... the map... the Internet ? It's kinda a wide-spreed information. -_-
[link] : It's like the USA, if it helps you...

Anyway... call 'pony-english' whatever you want.

1) That's toy canon, it frequently differs from show canon (e.g. pink Celestia)

2) Since you used the example: Lots of people call the US "America" even though it's only part of it

3) Also as you're already talking about the US: There are over 300 languages spoken in the US (about half of which are native to it)

4) I will call it what I want to, and you're free to do the same :)

Seems "English" is more likely to become canon anyway, given that they've already mentioned "French" things.

Adding one last thing here.

They have 'White Celestia' now : [link]
