Ah, that explains it. And I can understand the feeling of realizing that you got the wrong colour. 
I kind of like this color though. It goes well with the color scheme, I think. I like it next to the green linen I found (which could be more green, but who's counting?).

Interesting that you used linen for the tunic, I actually used wool when I made mine... since I thought that it would make it look more authentic to the one he has in the game.

oye.. It's entirely too hot where I live to use wool.. Though I'm sure it would be more authentic-looking. I figured the Skyloftians would wear a lightweight fabric like linen.
I wore it at a con, and it wasn't that warm. (about 2 or 3 hours waiting to get inside, standing in the sun.) but if one uses something that isn't 100% wool, then it will get hot.
Well, I think they use linen in their clothing, but as the tunic is supposed to be somewhat protecting (considering it is for a knight) it should be in a thicker fabric.I'm using linen otherwise for the cosplay.
