You just have to study anatomy and techniques and practice a lot. It'll take a long time, but it's worth it °3°
And your OC doesn't seem that bad and he's pretty original
You should slap in him some better anatomy and maybe fix his colors a bit and it'll be a very good OC that everyone will want to draw

You can always practice on paper, I think it's easier 
I meant practice anatomy xD There are a lot of good tutorial here on dA for every kind of anatomy, you just have to search for them
