Still haven't Hijacked one yet. Imsee squadmates getting downed because of other enemies, they still distract the Atlas, right as I fire.
Yup - I only managed to hijack one, and that was just for the novelty of it. Well, that and the achievement. 
It was otherwise a bit too dangerous to be practical in normal gameplay. And they won't even let you hijack them in multiplayer.
