I think so, yes. From side views you can see how sharp that angle actually seems to be. I actually hit it on mine by accident one time and it turned out pretty well. 
The nose piece (gusset?) stays the same, just the shape of the nose on the side piece.

Well I actually just changed my gusset and wound up at the correct angle by accident...
My head piece already has a (Slightly curved, because...I like it better) right angle in it, but because the end of my head gusset was so round, it was still coming out as a diagonal. I changed the gusset to a point, and now I think it works better. We'll see when I use this new head pattern for RD next!
