Hi, and thanks! Uhm, yeah, it's hard for me to give pointers because each artist has their own vision and goals. But you could always ask if there's anything you want to know in particular. :)

Yea-sorry about the vagueness of that statement. I think my biggest thing at the moment is getting backgrounds(as far as advanced/complex buildings) down-that and im wanting to get better with toning. I've gotten a little better over the past year, but any advice would be welcome.

No problem.

In traditional manga, the lineart is the important thing, and tones are just like the icing on the cake. Some people choose to go all-out with their toning because that is their vision, but I try to use a little tones as possible to save time. I've looked at some of your pages and they look pretty great in black and white!

For backgrounds, I suppose you may begin by practicing the one, two, and three-point perspectives. There are tutorials everywhere on deviantART -- you can try doing a search: one-point perspective, and so on.

okay. Thanks, I really appreciate it. I did one page that was partially in color-was it okay looking, or did it need a bit of work still?

No problem. I think... hmm. I think you could soften the colors a little. Also you could put a border for the text so that it's more readable. That's about it! :D
