Well, I haven't shown it in any images, but Malice can be a tactless bitch at times and is constantly teasing and manipulating Sonia. Mysti eventually becomes friends with Sonia and learns of her importance in the grand scheme of things, so she torments Malice as a means of punishing her.
I think that it's been made amply apparent how much of a witch-with-a-b that Malice is. BFFs with a chaos deity... not bad, but Sonia'd better watch her back, 'cause that gig didn't work out so well for Odin and Osiris.
It would be an interesting twist if Luna's Slayer X form, if it exists after your revamp, turned out to be a "gift" from Mysti to Sonia - the "well-meant but poorly thought out" kind of gift. Most likely not the case, but I still think it would be an interesting twist.

Actually, in a way Mysti is responsible for Luna's Slayer X form. Mysti was one of the gods that granted Alex his powers. (Sonia's husband and Luna's father). Luna inherited most of his powers when she was born, but lacked the necessary willpower to be able to control it.
Ah... it all becomes clear. And does Sonia know Mysti is partially responsible for her daughter's berserk rampages? ^_^
