No, the fact of the matter is that content can only be used through the workshop since the update to Gmod 13. I don't see a workaround. And I totally get what you're saying, but it's not like that anymore. Have you been there lately? All of the Mane 6, background ponies and even Sugarcube Corner complete with props are there with no problems! I remember how it was at first, it was the "pony faggot stuff" for sure. But I'm serious, it'll be fine. I respect your decision to keep them off of there, but if you check it for yourself, you'll see that it's all there, and no one's bothering it. I just wanted to use Pinkamena, and a better one than the Fluttershy recolor. I was excited. Only way to do that though is to upload it to Workshop, which is true with all addons now.
