Which reminds me....in Underworld the Vampires had invented a blue encapsulated bullet that contained AgNO3 or silver nitrate, but never said how exactly the Silver Nitrate was broken down to trelease the Ag. As far as I know it was a cauterizing agent they swabbed my nose with to stop the bleeding. I used to know the acid (I think that caused the breaking down, but I don't have any idea how the silver would be released to run through the vampire's system. These and other problems weigh heaily on my mind.

It could be sulfuric acid that caused it, but having that in a bloodstream would not be easy to bear for any creature, vampire or not.
