Oh, one more thing. You claim this is deviant ART, yet you're not treating it like an art site. If you had approached us and said in a polite manner that there are too many of these keys popping up and then gave us suggestions, we'd be inclined to back off and try something new. An art site is about growing and sharing and helping others, you just seem upset because your idea of art isn't all that's on DA.
How did you expect us to react to your comment? If you really wanted to help us be creative, you would have given advice. Did you expect us to just say "wow you're right, we should stop?" Probably not. Which means you didn't really care about our improving/creating something different, you're just upset that these are popular. We help people, give advice, give art away for free, I'd say we're active members of the art community.

Sorry if I have offended you, because that's not why I'm on this community of course. There's just some things to get off my chest.
First, it's not a bad thing to receive a less positive comment. You made it to the front page, so you are good at what you do and the hundreds of positive comments here reflect that. Critique is what fuels this community, and I'm happy for that, so don't let these less fortunate comments get you out of balance like this.
Second, it was just my bold primary reaction after seeing something I see on the front page every day. Multicoloured cakes, zoomed-in photos of bubbles and ponies are works of art that people here appreciate and admire, and I can understand that. What creativity for me really is, is to come across something new, fresh, bold. I've seen your works of art, each different and creative in there own way and you're one of the best, so you don't really apply to what I just said, but the more new and creative content I see on the deviantART, the more I believe in this community. Repitition kills creativity, (just look at the instagram community), and I think you believe in that too.

Not offensive, don't worry, and thank you for elaborating on what you mean. Yesterday, someone also made a comment that these were being repetitive, and gave us some suggestions on how to change. After taking that into account, we started looking into other metal works, or different materials.
If people are getting tired of these, which is seems that some are, we have no problem expanding into something else. Maybe taking a break from uploading keys might be a good thing, we can look into alternative medias,
