Lol, that would be nice. But unfortunately remakes tend to be worse than their originals in most cases... A sequel would be a better idea I think.
That game deserves to be either remade or continued though, will never forget how I was walking around in that forgotten forest and had no idea where I was going while being eaten by these snake ferret thingies. :>

O: that memories!!!! i remember that i found this game like for super bargain in a box of psone games... I remember the first battle against that damn stone golem!!!
OH GOD that golem was a pain in the butt... Took me ages to beat it! 'specially without a piercing weapon.
I also kept dieing in these minshafts fighting that "fire elemental" demon... lol
NOT TO FORGET the epic fight in the forest, where you fight together with that sydney guy against this madman of a knight and that evil liveless armor suit thing. THAT was epic. <fangasm>
I also loved how you could combine weapons and get new (sometimes even better) ones. I spent tons of time to figure out what weapons and armor to combine to get the strongest ones
