The distribution of this house is a nonsense.
In all the exterior views of the house (both the original real house and the faka façade built in the backlot of Disney Studios) the garage is clearly placed in front of the house.
But a sitcom is basically a theatrical play and is very common and easiest to place an entry for the actors at the bottom and sides of the sets.
But if the garage was placed behind the kitchen and parallel to the hallway and the bedrooms would be behind the garage that hallway would be absurdily long.
.
In my Etsy shop I sell handmade drawings of these designs and in the latest versions of this floorplan I added a secondary entry behind the kitchen (between the kitchen and the bedrooms) that solves this problem.
I imagined some kind of Mud Room mixed with a Laundry Room with a entry from the backside where I imagined a little exterior parking.
With this solution I keep the integrity of the design: The garage in front of the house, a secondary entry from the bottom of the kitchen and a logical depth for the hallway.

And the cooker should be sticking out - there's an island it's in; the fridge is where you have the cooker in this floor plan.

No.

You must understand the concept of the fourth wall.

The cocker is against a wall that we don't see because a TV set is like a theater set.

When you see someone from the front in a sink, that sink is not on an island but against that invisible fourth wall.

When that character looks at a non-existent mirror and looks directly at the audience, it's not because he is crazy, it's because we have to interpret that there is a wall that doesn't exist in reality.

The fridge is in the right place, just next to the countertop.

If it were placed where the cooker is, according to your theory, we would be looking at the back of the refrigerator all the time but we can see it the doors cause they used it continuously.

And if the refrigerator were where the cooker is drawn, where would the island with the cooker be located according to you?

In front of the fridge, behind it or to one side?

Looking back over images and clips, the cooker is in the right place, it's just not far back enough - you have a small empty room behind it that isn't there (and the garage is actually next to the phone, where you have the W and D because they breed the minks in it and go through that door.)

Yes.

The garage is undoubtedly at the front of the house.

As can be seen in all the views of the exterior of the house, whether it is the original real house or the false facade built on the backlot of the studio.

In the latest versions of this design I solved the entrance from the back of the kitchen by adding a service door behind the kitchen.

Floorplan of THE GOLDEN GIRLS- New version

According to how they enter it from the kitchen, the garage SHOULD be where the green chair next to the kitchen is...

If you don't like my drawing feel free to make your own according to your perceptions.

I don't know why you keep insisting that there is a garage there. I'll be happy to see what you do with the garage in front of the house.

Maybe draw a house with two garages?

The fact: The garage is on the front side of the house and the kitchen behind it.

Your deduction: When they enter from behind the kitchen they are coming form the garage.

My question: Where do you get that idea from?

It's a preconceived idea that has been put into your head but that does not make any sense according to what we see in the series and on the set.

They enter it from the kitchen so a garage must be there.

Why?

I don't know why you keep insisting that there is a garage there.

There may simply be a back door for the kitchen as many houses have.

From the kitchen window you see an open space, not a garage that, according to you, should be there blocking the views of the kitchen.

Because:

- That garage can't be to the left or at the bottom since the corridor and the bedrooms are there.

- It can't be on the right because, if it was, there couldn't be a window and an open space.

The only possible solution: When they enter behind the kitchen they do so because there is a door to the outside, either to the street or to an open parking area behind it.

Conclusion:

- The garage is in front of the house as can be seen in ALL exterior shots.

- The garage cannot be behind the kitchen because on one side are the bedrooms and on the other an open space.

I think it is very easy to understand...

There's a garage there because it's where they store the Minks when they're trying to breed them - and they enter from the door BEHIND the table, where the phone is. So, ergo, THAT is the garage.
