Turned out great though , I think transparency works best with DIFs 
yeah, I have never really had any luck making anything non-dIFS look transparent, but sometimes it does amazing things to the colors!
I never tried it with non Difs before .
I try it often on stuff and it never seems to work well, at least not as transparency, except on the one I tweaked of MarkJayBee's
but it can do some cool things to colors sometimes, while others it ruins them... just gotta try it and see what it does.

I think it ruins menger , at least for me it does .
well, I don't think its any specific formula as much as what colors you use... some colors, when you apply the transparency, can change to something else, and you never really know what color you might get...
I might try that and see
lol... like this last one, it was all mostly blue and gray and metallic looking, I applied the transparency, and it turned bronze-ish colored... which turned out well this time, but I've ones that turned sickly green or other really nasty colors!
