I use a white ballpoint (gel) pen on my moleskine but only to create volumes or to correct some mistakes on my inks 
I can't use it to create fills like this.
I tried white ink markers but those are too liquid and damage the paper...

I'm going to try that next! What gel pen would you suggest? (sorry for asking so many questions OTL.)

Right now I'm using a Pilot Choose 07... I don't have a favorite brand I only ask for a simple white gel rollerball pen and the larger the ball the better because the ink flows better and it's more durable (I tend to destroy the tips of all the gel pens I have)
I've heard they are good pens. And the ones i have are good too.
I usually destroy the tips as well!
