I think this is an awesome shot. You captured what was happening and being an outlooker I am able to create a story just from this picture. Great timing I say! You got the shot at just in time, I wouldn't be able to get out my camera that fast, anyways, great shot, keep up the awesome work!
I did have my Leica already strapped around my neck. I must confess, that I saw the lady and her dog earlier on the very same station, and took my camera out of my bag. I had a feeling somehow, that I'd get a good shot of the dog. Strange. 
Manual focusing is a bit hard, since the subject was moving, but I've used to that by now. I think it's sharp enough.
