I made plague doctor masks myself but not with the same material. And I am quite a beginner at sewing. Did you sew the costume yourself?
Not the whole dress, I did fix it thou it had very annoying mistakes...
I have no doubt it's been very difficult. Yet the reseult is stunning. How much did it cost for the fabric?
hmm... hard to say, considering the fixing and all... ... I can't say for sure since I only paid when most of it was done, but considering the shiny fabric and the purple lycra I'd say $60 or more, I could't find it anywhere else so I had to deal with it, plus it was allot of it...
oh btw, I think you'll have better chances and more options if you're from U.S or somewhere else, here in P.R, there aren't many options for this sort of thing...
By the way, what exactly is "putty"? (I'm not sure 'cause English ain't my first language.)
