The likelihood is high... Hopefully, aliens don't carry fish food! 
XD He'd flare at them just because, I think... My bettas certainly do it at me!
I always loved it when my bettas would flare out at me. 
^_^ I get the best pics of them when they flare. Usually. Sunny war-dances around so much all I catch is a blur XD
I really want another betta, but I have a lot going on in my life and can't be sure at the moment that I won't have to go somewhere. The only person I have who could care for one for me has a household of cats. LOL
I have 13 bettas ^_^ And mine have enough attitude that any cats who tried to do a little fishing would get nipped XD
LOL! I want a bunch of bettas -- I wish I could fill a wall with 'em. I love those betta bowls that hang on the wall. They are awesome!
If I could I'd have a house full of them, with a 50-gallon-plus tank set up as a sorority ^_^
