I'm too much of a 'need to be perfect...this needs to be PERFECT' kind of person to even attempt doing something for such a short amount of time anyway.
I'd spend hours upon hours on it.

I've been planning on making custom brushes, but my photoshop suddenly doesnt seem to agree with my tablet pen pressure. Its impossible to draw something I like now.

I am such a person too. Maybe that is the reason it took me years to be able to draw this freely and fast. Good practice, but of course would I work on a commission I'd spend hours on it. But you can use it as a good foundation for more detailed works.

Hmm, I had a similar problem with PaintTool SAI. Uninstall/reinstall of the tablet driver might help. If not depending on what tablet you use there are different other ways to try to fix it. I used a way to fix my problem with SAI (using a Wacom Bamboo Fun tablet) that also should be working when the same pen pressure problem happens with Photoshop.

Hm...perhaps. I used Paint Tool Sai; didnt happen there. I'm got a Wacom Bamboo tablet (not the Fun) and I searched up what may be wrong; it was repoerted it may be the fault of the tablet, but I've lost my tablet's installation CD and have no way to reinstall once I uninstall.

Actually, its already uninstalled. My windows was reinstalled and therefore everything was deleted. Perhaps that may be the problem?

Uhm, without the tablet driver installed that would be the problem why you don't have pen pressure (the driver enables the pen pressure sensitivity, without it it's just a fancy mouse). Also, you can easily download the driver for your tablet on the Wacom website. Before this tablet I used an od Graphire 4. Got if from a friend, but she didn't have the installation CD anymore. But even for older tablets you can still get the driver on the Wacom website (it's actually the same driver as I use now for the Bamboo Fun).
