I am not broke or bankrupt, it's just leaving a huge whole in my savings, so I am trying to minimise the damage. I am independent and a grown-up and this is not meant as a plea for donations. I prefer working and earning it properly.

oh no, don't worry, it's okay. thanks for your concern! I was being a bit vague in describing the situation, so misunderstandings happen. If there were a danger of me losing my apartment or so, I would have done exactly as you said though. It's not like it was bad advice. ´u `
