I'll try to make a better tutorial in the future when I get a little better at grass myself ... it's hard.That's still not bad, lol. xD At least it's clear that you're doing it by hand rather than cheating and using the default photoshop brushes ... only a couple people on here seem to know how to use brushes really well. Whenever I do it, it looks awful, lol. x)
tbh if i knew how to make it look decent id use ps brushes. lol but since im a sai user i only use ps for touch ups lol. & the thing about that grass i dont like, is it seems like it has no body and no glow. but i see what yopu mean about putting effort in and doing it blade by blade :3
You could always do the grass in PhotoShop after you finish the basic drawing in SAI. I know some people do that. <3
