Agreed! Varan doesn't get enough love, he's one of the most unique Kaiju Toho has but he keeps losing his roles to other monsters. I like his flight ability too, though I have no idea how he pulls it off XD. I think there was a Godzilla novel by Marc Cerasini that tried to explain how he flies, like the bumps on his back fill with hydrogen so he can float and then he rides air currents to fly or something.
