I hate the word homophobia too, because of the way people throw it around.

I believe acting upon homosexual tendencies is wrong. I'm not scared, I just don't agree with it.

However, people are quick to slap labels like that on others. You might not realize it, but "Homophobic" is a label.

This day is about being positive, even if you don't agree with them.

Try being a bit more open-minded and realizing that people have different opinions. We all don't have to agree with each other, but we do have to have some sort of mutual respect.

Don't be a bully. (:

I agree that homophobic is a label, but the most likely reason I can think of that people get upset with you is the way you look at it. You say mutual respect like it is a political or religious opinion, but it really is a prejudice. I know most reasons given for said opinion are religious, but many people who practice said religions do not have this prejudice

My last sentence didn't have a period, and I apologize. The iPod touch screen is rather sensitive.

first of all, the are not "acting upon homosexual tendencies" any more you or I are acting upon heterosexual tendencies. second, it is not wrong, you just don't agree with it like you previously stated.

Oh thank goodness. Finally found someone else :D

I'm really tired of all this. So many people don't realize that "homophobes" (or a-holes, as we are so kindly described) are bullied just as much as homosexuals. I know I've been bullied.

Aren't we people too? Or does sympathy only go to the gays?
