Comment on Spirit Day by Vexic929

I completely agree with you. I've been bullied throughout elementary school and middle school just because I have slight Asperger's. Seriously, how are gays the only people who are victims? What irritates me is that some gays whine and bitch about how "hard" their life is when we all should remember that there's sex trafficking, world hunger, etc. It ticks me off. The bullying has made me a stronger person. I'm not saying bullying is good but I developed thicker skin from it. Just remember that high school doesn't last forever. Sorry for the ranting. Rant over!

You don't even know what it's like to live as a gay person in this society. What gives you the right to belittle the hate and discrimination they endure every day in their lives? You talk of sex trafficking and world hunger, but I guarantee you wouldn't even bring this up if black people were "whining and bitching" about racism.

Precisely, it's absolutely ridiculous, thanks for the wonderful comment~

Oh yes. Thanks for the "wonderful comment". Tell me, what was so wonderful about a person criticizing gay people for expressing their cries, sadness and frustration over the discrimination that they face on a daily basis?

Wow you worked hard to get to this comment lol this conversation is three years old my word. It took me several minutes just to find this so I could know what the heck you were talking about. The 'wonderful' part was simply that it wasn't a comment telling me how I'm a terrible person for not agreeing with Spirit day and also that they felt comfortable enough to get on their soap box and 'rant' to me. That's always nice to see in a world where people will jump down your throat for having a differing opinion on something whether it's on a heavy topic or not. Also, as I stated in the description of my stamp, LGBT+ people are not the only people who are bullied on a daily basis but they are perfectly welcome to express their frustration over it so long as they don't act like they're the only people in the world who deal with it. And as far as your other comment is concerned, don't even start with the racism thing, it's not even remotely the same topic and it's quite rude and ignorant to try and equate it as such.

Actually I just stumbled upon it, wasn't very hard at all. Don't care if the conversation is three years old, wasn't that long ago. Anyway, don't try to backtrack now. That person just said "What irritates me is that some gays whine and bitch about how "hard" their life is when we all should remember that there's sex trafficking, world hunger, etc. It ticks me off." ....And what was your response? "Wonderful comment!". That's what you said. You didn't say "They are perfectly welcome to express their frustration over it". That's not what you said to that person. Another thing, LGBT people don't act like they're the only group in the whole world who is dealing with bullying and discrimination. NOBODY said that they're the only people going though situations like that. NOBODY.

As for racism, it's not rude or ignorant to equate homophobia with racism. Different topic, yes, but there are similarities. We live in a society where black people, gay people, women, etc. have all faced discrimination all around the world in various of different ways. Different topics, different issues...but they all have something in common: Groups of people dealing with prejudice and discrimination because of how they are born. That's why there are comparisons in discussions like this.

lol no backtracking here but you're trying very hard to find something to be angry about aren't you? I'm actually really enjoying reading this, I love good cringe content, so please by all means continue screaming into the void arguments I've already touched on a million and one times, I'll get my popcorn~

My reading comprehension is fine. "Pretty clear" does not mean minimizing the font so that most people will miss it. Quite frankly, your whining about Spirit Day is both immature and ignorant. Obviously you don't understand the importance of awareness days. And after decades upon decades of the LGBT community fighting for their equal rights and enduring all the extreme prejudice and discrimination that they had to face on a daily basis while at the same time fighting against the epidemic of AIDS, they DESERVE to have an awareness day that is solely for them. Your "everyone gets bullied" excuse is weak, invalid, and not the fucking point. So you can use your laughing emoji all you want, but that doesn't make you right. You're very clearly wrong about this. You don't want a day that acknowledges a particular group. You want a day that generalizes everyone. There's a reason why a single day can't be for everyone, and it's because it's not SPECIFIC enough. There has to be a FOCUS. Making the day's message as broad and wide as possible is not gonna help anyone, nor is it gonna hold anyone's attention. Use your brain, if you even have one.

And this is exactly the kind of response I expected from an ignorant person like you. What's really cringey is the fact that you think being discriminated for being LGBT is exactly the same thing as being discriminated for being short. That's a ridiculous comparison. YOU are ridiculous for even thinking that. Enjoy your popcorn.

lol keep going honey you just keep showing how much you really don't know especially considering I made it pretty clear the short comment was a joke like maybe try for some reading comprehension?
