A very nice ending. I don't see why everybody thinks Blues rattata will die, it never said it did in the games; he probably just put it in storage. Most nostalgic fans are all grimdark and cynical and they assume the worst

actually, there is evidence saying it died, and i dont usually think the grim-dark crap, in red blue, before you go to lavender town you fight blue's raticate, then when you go to lavender town and fight blue he asks what you're doing here because you dont have any dead pokemon, this is also the first battle raticate is not on his team, plus red blue was a little darker then the rest of the games. and there is nothing to prove against the fact that you might have killed it. it's still a theory, but there is no false evidence in it.

actually, I think the glitch lords got blue`s raticate. Didn`t you notice that raticate evolved early? It was obviuosly messing with forces it couldn`t handle.

well in pokemon red/blue allot of pokemon are pre-evolved.

Hmmm, true. Still those games where glitchy as all heck so I wouldnt surprised if it was the glitch lords.

no, in the code for red blue there is an unused professer oak battle.
5 members of the team are some very stong pokemn (I forgot which ones) but the 6th is whatever pokemon you and your rival didn't use (aka bulbasaure) but fully evolved.

so what happened to bulbasaure? he got trained by profeser oak himself.
