Hahhhh oh man, finally got my gecko! FedEx decided they didn't want to enter the gate in my apartment complex, so I had to have him held at the facility to pick up yesterday evening. He's good, though, so hopefully they handled him gently all day! So bright n pretty social for a new guy! (: He doesn't mind poking his head out of the one hide and watching everyone, likes to explore and climb on top of everything n such. (: This morning I put my hand in the tank and he wandered out around - ignored my hand, but I'm happy that he didn't mind wandering around with it next to him. (: Can't get him interested in food, though.. even the waxies. D: The breeder said he'd only been fed mealworms up until this point, so I might have to get some of those and see how that works. ): After you get one delivered how long does it usually take for them to be hungry enough to be interested? D: I'm sure some of it's stress, I haven't even had him for 24 hours, but.. ):

Aaahahah Crested's like laser pointers?? xD The more you knowww~! That's brilliant haha (:

True story on seeing all the morphs out on the tables! So manyyy. And yeaaa, most of the tables I swear were ball pythons, and then all the tanks had oodles of bearded dragons. So many, but I like looking at the pythons the most! (: One of the chicks there had her tegu on a leash, it was too adorable haha. xD

LOL you'd be surprised how unstable animation is! Unless you're really high up it's difficult to keep from going on hiatus for a few months at a time or being laid off when a project is completed. After a few years of being in the field and having jobs it seems like after enough experience you can bop around from studio to studio, but it's difficult to get started, and depending on where you live it could be even more difficult - we only have two or three studios here in Atlanta. Pay's okay, decent for just starting out - people are finally starting to realize that if you keep your employees happy they do much better work, so it's starting to pay a bit more, thank goodness, but there's a lot of times where we're just flat out taken advantage of. ): But the animal route of things always seemed just so rewarding and enjoyable in nearly any aspect! And the people around you are equally as passionate about it - there's something to be said for that! < 3 I'm surprised it doesn't pay better, though? ): It's tough job. /:

Geez! You get to work with aaaall the reptiles! And all the animals! o__o That's a crazy list, but that sounds awesome! (: Is that all in one day or do they usually sort of switch you around from day to day? You need a red paaanda! :D
