i think the point are this epic air ships as mechanicle element flying to a giant mechanicle wall, that loosks like the wall of a city, or space ship.

hm ... you asced how this is mechanical ... and i told you that there is nothing else than mechanical elements. so don't get why there is no sense in it (sorry for the bad english, but i'm normaly not talking english)
i mean, there is nothing else than machines. future machines in future scenario. that is what i meant.

But I cannot completely tell whether what I see is strictly mechanical (as opposed to, say electrical). Some of the lights certainly look like electric lights, but they may be just exhausts or vents for all I can tell.

The thing I am confused about, is how are we supposed to tell that it's strictly mechanical? We don't see much of the workings of the space ship, as they look your typical space opera spaceships that run on plot and engineers' sweat.
