Somebody tell me why Blastoise is NOT a water/steel type? How can a Pokemon organically grow cannons?

Because there were no steel types in Red and Blue versions.
"What about Magnemite, its steel type now!"
Shhh! They dont know that!

Haha that was kind of my point. They changed the typing of magnemite, but they couldn't change the typing of blastoise? Also all of the other starters would of had dual typing if that had happened.

Yeah, not sure why they didnt go ahead and do that, but then again I'm fine with Blastoise not being weak against Earthquake and Fighting type moves.
In the end, Blastoise is a creature of perfection, and needs not be tampered with XD
