Hi Basolian, I make the halftone effects in Photoshop. First draw the soft effect you want on its own layer then copy it to a new image. Change the image mode to Grayscale and then Bitmap. You can select Halftone Screen as the method and then the Frequency, Angle and Shape of the halftone you'd like. In this design, which was made at 300dpi, I used a frequency of 30, an angle of 22.5 degrees and Line as the halftone shape. For some effects Round looks good too.
