its the same kind of fur used for the ears and muzzle, just styled with gel and a bent thick wire installed to help style the front piece. ^^

Oh! I see. I didn't know you could use gel like that on faux fur. (The more you know!) Is it a bit sticky and you have to re-apply it after awhile?

i used Hairspray in generous amounts first, then gel. Try it on a test strip before you do anything though.
and i used it on Kan-d's head from a year ago and its still fine, no need to reapply it unless you feel you really want to.
