Indeed, I just ignore the stupid comments, it's just not worth the time and whatever you do, someone is guarenteed to complain about the most trivial thing. It's different here though, if you do get complaints, its usually well thought out and good constructive critisism, not a troll or a 12 year old =p

Yeah, but I'm not mainstream enough to get criticism of any stripe yet.

It's nearly discouraging to bore out and work on a picture for a large span of time and see that weeks later no one has commented with anything other than "Looks good!"

I wish that I could get some more criticism. Friends are good for a time, but even they'll take it easy on you to save your feelings. I don't want that, I want HONEST OPINION, and I hardly get it.

Where do you go when you feel like that (As I imagine you've felt this way before)?

Actually, i don't really get like that, I go off and look up things myself =p when i do a piece of art, i get an idea of where i've gone wrong and where i could do better so i'll go off and research that for next time or i'll keep it in mind and go off to learn something new XD i just never sit still long enough to dwell on any of my art.

But i always appreciate critisisms on my older works, especially if its something i didn't notice, because that then leads to a whole different tangent i could go off to research =p

Theres just too much stuff out there that gets my attention XD

I do research my wrongdoing too, but I hardly get called out on any of it.

I never notice anything, and no one ever says anything.
It's a living :D

>< I'm just overly nit-picky over my stuff DX

And so, i just feel i need to research everything XD Forget what other people say or don't say, you don't need people to call you out for you to go searching for answers. A good artist should always be trying to learn something new, i think the quote was something like an artist should never work within their comfort zone XD (Granted, it was for music, but it applies exactly the same to art =p).

Critisism and feedback is nice for another person's view of your art, but don't get disheartenned if you don't get it. Try something new and you might attract a wider range of artists who might be able to offer different views =p

I'm working on it.

I'm taking Classes in all sorts'a stuff, and I'm doing well enough in that!

I'm constantly buffing my views by reviewing others, and giving the best damned reviews I can. Maybe I can help someone outta my situation, y'know?

I love to find out new stuff I can do, and I'll be working with Shadow soon enough!
