That sounds a bit tricky, to me and mildly taboo - I feel that journals have a certain, established difference, in comparison to deviations.
What if, for example, I used the journal framework to link to a series of other people's deviations, using them to build a new, unique story, that would be unrelated to the... journalism, so to speak... that journals pretty much revolve around?
What sort of category would that fall in?
Would there be any issues regarding the arbitrary use of others' works?
How far could that go, how rich could it get? (we also have media such as Flash and Films, or the occasional Youtube embedding; speaking of which, by the way, music/audio -an old and, in my opinion, a rather prominent form of art, which has gained new, I dare say unique, branches throughout time, especially since the invention of the radio- is missing on dA, as a category of its own, which feels slightly odd, given we have Film and that dA's origins involve Winamp skinning) Should there be any guidelines or limits?
