Many times people who just dropped in gives "wrong" critiques that they think are "right"
That's why the artists chose other people who think can give them the "right" critique to comment them.

And about the style. Yes, some used "It's my style" to hide them mistakes. But also, some of them are not the "mistake" but a true style. For example, [link] this art's line art is isn't neat but I wouldn't say it's a mistake because I can see it's truely the artist's "style" and there's no need to make the line art neater. This is original. But some people might comment it like "You should make the lines connected" and made it sound like a mistake when it's not (Just an example)
