Ophelia looks lovely in that dress! And it's funny, the 11th of November is known as Veteran's Day in the US. 
I heard that is was important to other countries as well for the same reason. Over here poppies are a symbol of hope linked to the wars. We also sell poppy badges to raise money to help look after injured soldiers and families who have lost loved ones in the battle filed.
Ah, that's cool! I didn't know that about poppies, and that's really cool about selling the badges. Over here the symbol for "supporting the troops" is a yellow ribbon.
