Well, I took most of the images myself. Two pictures have been given to us by the teacher and I used some textures frome the website cgtexture (wich is a free texture website!) ;-) I don't think it would be usefull to put a link to those pictures. ;-)

just remember, some people want to learn how u do what u do... providing as much info as you can will help the next artist and look much better for you... i have grown so much as an artist because of deviantart so i give back wherever i can ;)

Well, actually, as I said, I mainly used my pictures. Also, to be honnest, I didn't use any secret technic to do this work. I only put a lot of time in this. And a lot of layer too... Also, I don't feel too comfortable with the idea of doing tutorials. As I said English isn't my first language. On the other hand, if someone ask me questions about my work, it is alway a pleasure to do my best to answer it. -By the way, if you have any question, feel free to ask! ;-)-

Finally, I don't whant to post the pictures I used for this work because those aren't verry beautyfull. In fact, they have been took espetially for this composition. So, except the visible part you see, here, there is really nothing interesting in those. For example, the trees you can see here are on the sidewaly of a street nearby my house! Lol! You see what I mean?

lol... i know what you mean... i was just suggesting you tell your viewer where your images came from or a little bit of the process... not on every piece but i found that people tend to react to that better... btw, what do u use for 3d software...?

Well, for this one, I didn't use any 3D software. It was all done with photoshop! For my other work, I use XSI Softimage for the 3D work and Nuke for the compositing (when needed). Does it answer you?

yes... i use c4d for some of my designs.. i always wanted to learn 3d character design and modeling...

Well, for this, there is no real secret : school! Lol! The character modeling is something pretty hard and verry technical. There is a lot of tutorial online but most of them are done by people who don't know 3D verry well. Usually, for good stuff, you'll have to pay. Gnomon is a verry good one. Anyway, here is some tips to see if a tutorial is done by a good character modler :

1) ALL the polygones are quads (no triangles, no five faces, no six faces, only quads). Here is why : [link]

2) There is ALWAY loops flowing around the mouth, the eyes and the whole face.

3) Finally, GOOD modlers don't start directly in Z-Brush or muddbox, but alway in a base 3D software like Softimage, 3DS Max or Maya! ;-)
