I have to say I usually don't read critics, especially when it's about my work, by fear of what I could read (bad or good, expectations or not)...I try to work that out for sure.
I liked yours, and the bit about the text sounds more endearing indeed. actually the passive voice was meant to highligts the fact it is an exterior point of view that we (the audience) deduce by watching the show.
also I set it this way, the text to be light, because I didn't want it to weight on the picture.
maybe I will do some modifications.
Still, Thank you very much for giving your pov on my piece, it flatters me.

I'm glad for both of us that you chose to read mine then. I take pride in trying to balance my critiques, to provide praise and a way to improve. Of course improvement in art is 90% subjective but at least now you have the idea/option. Your point about the text being something we develop as an audience over time is a good one and I completely agree with it; for people who really connect with the show, that meaning is probably much stronger.
