Thanks, and heh, I kind've wanted him to be somewhat obviously evil, simply because the reader is supposed to realize pretty soon that he is a villain, and so therefore he could look as villianous as I wanted him too. 
Besides, when I first pictured him, he came out wearing a red cloak; that's sort've like his trademark or something.

Oh, speaking of which, I've been making a bunch of progress on my story lately, and the end of the first installment is in sight. It's about time, really. I've been working on this since I was 15.
