Hmm... Well, there's the Ebony pencil, which gets very, very dark. That works well. My art teacher had a brand that she really liked; it was dark and matte, so the light didn't reflect off of it. I don't remember what it was called, though. 
I see, the light reflecting doesn't bother me since I only take the photos from the above.
