yeah ours is the second monday of October to celebrate the fall harvest, my birthday being october 14th sometimes lands on thanksgiving which means i only get pie instead of pie and cake : (
ah the knee thing sucks but at least a hurt knee doesn't stop from eating yummy pie... the boy friend breaking up.... well that sucks but you're probably too good for him anyways... seriously who does shit like one on a holiday. oh well... food and family are what it's all about

well other then Thanksgiving being the same holiday but on a different date we have boxing day instead of black friday (though oh my god the stores are trying to push black friday down our throat) and it's the day after christmas and used as a way to clear stock for the products coming out in the new year...
