Not sure why but it heavily reminds me of Nidhogg 
Right on to the Nidhogg shout-out! Research on Santa was interesting, especially on the exploration of our modern Santa Mythology being derived from Norse myths repurposed by Christian integration. Santa being a majorly remodeled version of Odin was amusing, so I wanted to take this guy back towards those roots.
