Hellow Zephyr I'll be honest, it took me a few *hours* to make my first rose!! I was pretty much a novice when I did these and I'm still no expert. The most important thing is to work slowly, be patient, and be as precise as possible.If you don't have origami paper, use printing paper while you're learning.

Ideally, when learning a new pattern, I like to find more than one YouTube video tutorial for the same model. I pause the video at each step and then make the fold, and if I can't see what's going on, I'll check that step in a different video.

When I learnt this rose pattern, I could only find *one* video and it was very low quality, so when I got stuck, I literally watched the same step over and over and tried different things until it worked.
