Though, for us humans, consider this: Whether or not the moon is visible in the daytime sky is dependent on the phase of the moon. The closer the moon is to new moon, the less the "angle" between moon an sun are, until the moon is completely invisible in the daytime sky. In contrast, on the full moon, the moon can't be seen either since it's on the other side of the horizon as the sun

When you go outside during a clear day marked as a half moon (either one) on your calendar, the Moon and Sun should be at 90 degrees from one another :D
