Thanks as always Simon. This is just a simple piece - content wise - so I put the most effort into the paint job and layout. Sometimes when I see this 'type' of digital painting I think people tend to over emphasize the light sources and I always wonder where the artist thinks the remarkable shades are coming from. But having a volcano going off in the background sure helps make it very clear for the viewer why the lighting is like it is!
