personally i think jack`s little sister`s name should be Mary, if you know a bit about William Joyce you`d know why, if you don't know anything about him here it is...
William Joyce, (the author of the books upon which rise of the guardians is based) had a daughter named Mary-Katherine, she died at the age of eighteen from a brain tumour, (i know, sad right) the guardians of childhood series is based upon the stories he told her while she was sick. also hence why in the books, there is a little girl named Katherine. and in the movie epic (based upon... i think its called the leaf men and the brave good bugs, anyway it`s another one of joyce`s works) the protagonist is called Mary Katherine.
i`m thinking of writing a fanfic, based on the idea that jack`s sister sacrifices herself for a child (not sure if it`s her own or another yet) when she`s eighteen and becomes a spirit of summer and doesn't remember her past either. funny thing is, she crosses paths with jack on a few occasions in the 300 or so pre-guardian years but neither recognise each other because neither remember. would anyone read that?
