When I cut it, it's going to be shoulder length =w= so, pretty short vs how it is now.

You should really figure out the multi purpose of that tail!
You could so much, you'd ever have to carry your own drink.. well.. your tail could carry it.. or.. it can brush you hair for you!
But I can understand... my hair is currently shoulder length and it had recently been cut... *sighs* Long hair is a gift but can be extremely annoying..

So far, my brain has told me, my tail can support my body, so I can use it as a chair. Use it as extra limbs. Store things in it. Use it to draw.
And the ink can also make little black holes you can travel through like in cartoons when they make them circles on a flat surface and jump through XD lol

It could also catch you if you fall over! there is so much you can do!^^

but my hair can't be too long for my work

I've seen alot of guys with long hair when I was in college X3 But yeah, bummer work wont let you have longer hair :/

Well my girlfriend doesn't like my hair too long either It can annoy her too.
But I've never slept with my hair in a ponytail... I don't think I'd like it XD

I've been doing it for awhile so I found ways for it not to bother me when in a ponytail XD a real challenge I've mastered is having my hair in a clip while I sleep lol.

Also my girlfriend likes it best when I wear my hair loose >.>
So in the end I have a length that I try to keep it( meaning I don't cut it until it bothers me again and then cut it, and that is mostly when it hangs in my face when it's in a tail)
